Since graduating from McGill University with a degree in Finance and Economics, Alexis Roman has spent the majority of his professional career as an advisor to early stage startups across North America and Africa. Alexis moved to Accra, Ghana, in 2018 to join MEST Africa as a Venture Partner, and now works directly with over 50 portfolio companies across the continent with focuses on strategy, growth and finance.

Prior to joining MEST, Alexis gained experience in Management Consulting and Private Equity in Canada, working with some of the country’s largest financial institutions on various innovation mandates
