Yele Oyekola

Co-Founder & CEO, Duplo

Yele is a Co-Founder and the Chief Executive Officer at Duplo. He began his career as a credit-focused Financial Analyst before moving to the United Nations supporting national governments in Africa on their economic and urban policies.

In 2019, Yele founded a Buy-Now, Pay-Later startup for East Africa, Julla focused on helping e-commerce businesses start, manage and grow their businesses with ease. 

Julla ran its operations till December 2020 and in January 2021, Yele took his learnings from Julla and joined Carbon as a Product Lead scaling their Buy-Now, Pay-Later product. Now, Yele is focused on building and scaling Duplo with the vision to be the premier payment rail powering global trade.

He holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Reading, United Kingdom.
