Uyoyo Edosio

Uyoyo Edosio is the Principal ICT and Innovation Expert at the African Development Bank. In this role, she is responsible for designing the Bank’s Digital transformation action plan for Africa and managing loans and grants to Governments, the Private sector, and Regional Economic Communities. Uyoyo’s over half-a billion-dollar investment portfolio focuses on developing technology clusters and data centers, financing technology startups, scaling digital skills, and designing policies to foster digital payments and cross-border trade. 

Uyoyo has over a decade of experience working in the technology ecosystem in various capacities. Before joining the Bank, she was a management consultant at KPMG and PwC London, advising multinational companies across Europe, America, and Africa on innovative strategies harnessing insights from vast electronic data. She was also the founder of the women-led startup- Techtouch- known for its fashion app “Sharaka”.

Uyoyo is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) trained Innovation Expert; she holds a master’s degree in Information Technology and Management, a Postgraduate degree in Investment Appraisal and Development Project Management, and Bachelor’s in Computer Science. She is currently finalizing a degree in International Social and Public Policy with a focus on development at the London School of Economics.
