Co-Founder & CEO, ImaliPay

Tatenda is the Co-Founder and CEO of ImaliPay, a fast-growing VC-backed Fintech formed in 2020 offering financial services to African gig workers and platforms. Up until starting ImaliPay,  he was Technical Advisor to the Co-CEO of Cellulant, a leading digital payments company operating across 18 African countries.

Tatenda is a prestigious Chevening Scholar and studied for his Master’s at the University of Nottingham (2017) and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Bradley University (IL, USA).  Tatenda’s ambition is to develop the tech ecosystem across Africa for the next generation of entrepreneurs to attract funding and build scalable world-class businesses that promote fast-track economic development and empowerment.
