During the last 20 years, Rait has done business in 40+ countries on three continents; the last 6 years of it in East Africa. His experience in the VC and start-up industry combined with his knowledge of the African economic environment is helpful in bridging the gap of expectations of different business cultures.

Coming from the country with the highest rate of Unicorns per capita he brings a start-up mentality and innovation mindset to Africa. Rait has worked with/consulted several successful start-ups worldwide, Bolt and NOW! Innovation, to name a few. He is currently serving as the CEO of Kenyan start-up Tai Plus.
