Mike Conradi is the Global Co-Chair of DLA Piper’s telecoms and InfraTech practices. Mike provides regulatory and commercial advice to global governments, regulators and businesses in the sector and has worked extensively across the African continent, in addition to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South and Latin America.

 Mike is ranked by the Legal 500 as a “Tier 1 – Leading individual” for telecoms law with Chambers & Partners having described his “ability to grasp complex technical points quickly”, as well as commending his “skill in navigating through the constraints of a tough regulatory environment”. The directories have also said Mike is “bright, has strong market knowledge and is an effective negotiator”.

 Mike is also the editor of the very well-received Communications Law Handbook published by Bloomsbury Professional (“this is a book no serious practitioner of communications law should be without” – The Commonwealth Lawyer). He is the author of a number of template agreements available through PLC (the PracticalLawCompany) and he was also the only private practice lawyer on the legal working group of SubOptic (the main submarine cable industry body worldwide) which drafted a template fibreoptic system supply agreement.

Mike has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University, where he was awarded a scholarship. He is admitted to practice in England and in New South Wales, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.
