 Lewam is a Principal at Partech Africa. She invests in Seed+ to Series C startups across the continent with ticket sizes between $1M to $15M. Lewam has over 10 years of experience investing in the US and emerging markets such Latin America, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa.

She began her career working at a US fintech startup that went on to IPO, and subsequently joined the private equity firm, the Carlyle Group, with a focus on emerging markets. Lewam graduated from the College of William & Mary where she studied Finance and Development Economics, and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
