John Egwu is currently the COO for AutoChek Financial Services. He is a savvy entrepreneur, with over 7 years experience in Sales Management, Business Intelligence / Performance Management, data Mining, Business Development, Project Management as well as Customer Experience Management.
Prior to joining AutoChek, he was also Head, Retail and Storage, Head, Business Optimization and the Commercial Operations and Strategy manager for Cars 45.
He graduated from the University of Calabar with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, and an MBA from the University of South Wales. He was the SVP for the East African Region prior to his promotion to COO for AutoChek Financial Services, where he set up the East African business for success.
He was the VP Supply chain before joining Autochek, managing s strong and effective supply chain business unit, in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya, which included vehicle supply logistics, distribution, inventory management, international trade and auto trade financing.
As Sales Performance Manager at Jumia, he improved and optimized sales performance for Jumia offline sales channels, B2B, LC, B2B SME, B2B2C and JForce suing effective data analysis techniques, while also managing 5 geographical sales regions.
