Jason Marshall
Jason Marshall is a seasoned product management and operations executive with decades of FinTech experience. He is responsible for the company’s product management, design/UX, operations and HR functions. After serving on the company’s advisory board for three years Jason joined Yellow Card with a mandate to rapidly incubate and scale functions outside of engineering and marketing.
Much of Jason’s career in FinTech and payments has been centered around using technology to solve financial services problems for underserved communities. As Senior Director, Payments at WalMart, Jason was responsible for various payment initiatives including the largest private-sector payroll card program in the U.S. Additionally, he had global responsibility for the company’s store-branded gift card programs which grew to over $12B in annual volume while he expanded to China, India, Mexico, and Central America. Jason was a VP, Product Management at First Data where his team grew a family of ACH products from $140M to $210M in annual revenue. As a VP, Emerging Technologies at InComm Jason worked closely with the executive team to develop the firm’s long-term mobile payments and crypto strategies.
A product manager at heart, Jason’s most valuable experience comes from numerous exciting initiatives involving efforts to disrupt the remittance industry.
Jason earned a B.A. in Business & Spanish from Texas A&M University and a MBA from the Yale School of Management. He resides in Dallas, Texas, and spends about 25% of his time visiting different markets in Africa.
