Ivy Macharia
Ivy is an early stage venture investor with 8 years’ experience in consulting, investment advisory, impact investing and VC. She has experience investing in early-stage, high-growth enterprises as well as providing investment advisory and strategy consulting for high growth businesses across Africa.
She is deeply committed to driving capital towards the most catalytic businesses in the continent, and increasing the diversity of the businesses that access funding. She currently works as a Senior Investment Associate at Enza Capital where she invests in tech businesses solving large and meaningful problems across Africa. Prior to Enza, she worked at Acumen where she invested in pioneer, innovative businesses in clean energy, agriculture and education and was part of driving the investment strategy in East Africa. Ivy holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Science (BBS) in Actuarial Science from Strathmore University in Nairobi.
