Gideon Greaves

Gideon is a proudly South African with a deep passion for startups that are focused on creating innovative solutions. As an excellent communicator and visual thinker, Gideon began his career in film and media. He proceeded to high-impact leadership roles in the food, transport, and gift-tech sectors.

While looking for venture capital to fund his own food-tech startup, he fell in love with the early-stage investment space. Since then, he has successfully exited many ventures and worked relentlessly with various enterprises around the world specifically on funding and growth strategies. Gideon invested in bitcoin in 2016 which lead him down the blockchain rabbit roll. He now holds the role of Managing Director for the African office of Swiss Blockchain VC, CV VC.
