He is currently the CEO and Cofounder of Octamile Inc, a company that aims to make insurance work for businesses and insurance providers.

His impactful journey includes a pivotal role as the Managing Director of Olist by Opera (Opay), a trusted and free online marketplace that reshaped Nigeria’s digital landscape. Additionally, as the CEO of Cheki, Nigeria’s premier online car marketplace, he played a key role in its turnaround that led to its acquisition by Autochek Africa in 2020.

Gbenro has also held executive roles at distinguished platforms, including Efritin.com, Hotels.ng, and AutoGenius (now Mycovergenius).
