Eva Warigia

Eva Warigia is the Chief Executive Officer of The East Africa Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, a regional network representing over 100 firms working in the private ecosystem in East Africa. EAVCA seeks to develop and nurture the local ecosystem to make it easy for entrepreneurs, financiers, and public sector gain access to funding

As a self-professed Afro-optimist, Eva leverages her passion for analytics and storytelling to champion, and influence for: Africa’s position in global trade and economics, SME innovation and financing, gender, and youth equality. Her professional experience spans over ten years, working at the intersection of the private sector finance and development; supporting institutional investors, governments, regulators and leading African companies with market insights, strategy design, policy formulation and fundraising.

She is Eva holds a Bachelor of Arts(hons.) from the University of Nairobi and is currently completing her MBA at Strathmore Business School.
