Co-founder Omnibiz Africa

Deepankar Rustagi is the Co-founder of Omnibiz Africa (Mplify Limited). He is a well-experienced Business Planning professional with a degree in Business Innovation & Growth from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (Stanford SEED – Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies).

He is an experienced founder with a demonstrated history of working with small business solutions having lived in Africa for about 23 years.

He has served in different capacities including as a zonal marketing manager at Dufil and as National Sales Manager at Lucky Fibres Plc.

In March 2010, Deepankar founded VConnect, an SME tech company, that focused on the way businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa acquired and engaged with customers. The platform enabled users to search for and connect with service businesses to access reliable and affordable services.

Recognizing the need to digitize the supply chain in Africa, Deepankar founded Omnibiz Africa, a B2B FMCG E-commerce platform that digitally unifies the supply chain in Africa. He also launched Mplify, a Sales Force Automation application that offers businesses the ability to track and optimize their sales force activity, sales data, and information.

He has excellent analytical, sales, customer relationship and team building skills.

Deepankar possesses a strong motivational management style with a proven history of building and retaining high-performance teams to develop and implement growth strategies. Over the last 16 years, Deepankar has demonstrated an ability to instill a common vision and develop a dynamic team based on trust and mutual respect.

When Deepankar isn’t thinking of the next big thing in tech, he spends time with family and is a great stepper on the dance floor.
