Chirag Shamdasani is the Innovation Lead for Mastercard Foundation in Ghana.
Taking a non-traditional career pathway that started by developing deep financial expertise at PwC, Chirag has successfully pivoted to complex problem solving that delivers high impact. In service of the Foundation’s goal of creating dignified and fulfilling work for 30 million young Africans by 2030, he has designed and managed a variety of financial inclusion and digital economy projects. In this latest role, Chirag is leading the Foundation’s inaugural innovation portfolio to create an effective pipeline generating structure that will lead to deployment of high impact future-oriented products.
