Brenton Naicker

Brenton is the Principal and Head of Growth (Africa) for CV VC, a leading blockchain-focused venture capital firm headquartered in Zug, Switzerland. He currently spearheads investments for their African Blockchain Fund, an early-stage VC initiative. Additionally, the firm operates an accelerator based out of Zug.

Before joining CV VC, Brenton played a pivotal role in expanding Binance into Africa, successfully launching markets in Sub-Saharan, East, and Francophone Africa. His extensive experience includes serving on working groups for the South African central bank, contributing to the development of crypto regulatory frameworks. Brenton is also a dedicated startup mentor and judge, actively involved with organizations such as SeedStars, CV Labs, UCT Financial Innovation Hub, Global Startup Awards – Africa, and the Paxful-backed Africa Blockchain University.
