Founded in 2020, Melanin Kapital uses blockchain technology to help African businesses, investors, and financial institutions access and track capital, including loans, investments, grants, and carbon credits. The company has received international recognition, including awards from the Hewlett Packard Foundation, AfricArena, and GITEX Africa.
A French-Senegalese impact investment professional, Melanie has over seven years of experience across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, and has worked with organizations such as the United Nations, Investisseurs & Partenaires, and Finance in Motion. She also teaches impact investing and supports entrepreneurs through accelerator programs.
