Emma Margetts

Emma is the co-founder and CEO of Alpha Exchange. 

Alpha Exchange helps investors cut through market noise to deliver intelligence that drives better-informed investment decisions. The company connects Africa’s capital markets community with global investors. With a presence across Africa, US and London, Alpha Exchange is the fastest growing capital markets network.

She spent her career in investment management most recently at Investec Asset Management. Previously she worked at fund management house, Allan Gray and the African Foresight Network as a consultant. She was founder of the Business Learning Network an NGO focussed on women’s entrepreneurship in the informal settlements of South Africa.
