Alexa Lion

Alexa leads product development to verify customer identities and combat fraud.

Prior to joining Smile Identity, she led payments partnerships in EMEA at Meta, focusing on consumer payments and local payment methods for advertisers. She was previously a managing consultant at Mastercard Advisors in Lagos, where she advised banks on payment product development.

She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
