Akinbola Asalu

Akinbola Asalu is an Africa-based entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Aktivate, building the creator Operating system powering earnings growth. He brings experience from previous roles at Bitmama, TAXI TV, and Access Bank.

At Bitmama, he was part of the team that grew the platform from zero to $5M in GMV at its peak, before leaving to build Aktivate full-time.

Before that, he co-founded TaxiTV in 2017 — an adtech startup placing touch-screen entertainment displays in Uber and Taxify vehicles — raising seed funding led by Beta.Ventures.

His mission is simple: make content creation a sustainable, full-time livelihood for African creators.
