At Binance Labs, Yele’s role is to invest and support blockchain and cryptocurrency projects and entrepreneurs whilst developing the nascent blockchain ecosystem on the continent. Prior to joining Binance Labs, Yele founded Microtraction — one of Africa’s top angel funds and invested in various African startups across multiple sectors including Financial Services and Crypto
Before Microtraction, Yele was the General Manager and Employee #1 at Starta, a resource platform & online community for African Entrepreneurs that reached 28,000+ subscribers and was acquired within 6 months by Potential Group in 2016. He’s also self-taught designer and developer and has created multiple apps and products over the last 5 years.
Yele studied Medicine at King’s College London before opting out to focus on technology entrepreneurship.
