Nkiru Amadi-Emina
Nkiru Amadi-Emina is a serial entrepreneur with over 12 years’ experience in Business Development and IT consulting across the public, private and NGOs sectors and more recently scaling growth stage start-ups. She is passionate about technology and its ability to transform industries and economies and is keenly interested in the nexus between business and technology.
She is currently the Founder/CEO of Pivo Technology. Pivo’s end to end technology is used to deliver financial services to Small and Medium Sized vendors within large corporate supply chains. Under her leadership, Pivo has grown to millions of dollars in transaction volume, with employees across 2 global offices and six figure annual revenue. Companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Pivo to deliver financial services within their Supply Chains.
Prior to building and launching Pivo to fix access to financial services for Supply Chain SMEs, she worked as the Head of Port Operations for Kobo360 – A Technology Logistics Company present in 8 African countries – where she was responsible for managing and growing the company’s Port Operations Business Unit and delivering significant strategies that propelled the business unit to over $1m monthly revenue.
She has a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology from Igbinedion University Okada and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Bath and in her spare time, she serves as a mentor for Google and for the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
