An innovation specialist and the Managing Director at AFGRI Technology Services, Niki Neumann is focussed on shaping the future of food and agriculture. Her focus is to bring together the greatest minds, technology and products to identify exponential solutions to solve agriculture’s biggest challenges.
Niki has been instrumental in setting up the innovation capabilities and innovation practice within AFGRI Group Holdings, while driving the principles of co-innovation and customer-centric design. Key to the success has been developing an ecosystem of strategic partners, organisations, entrepreneurs and start-ups.
She believes that innovation does not always require high-tech, expensive solutions and that innovation truly starts from encouraging curiosity, understanding your customer, leveraging cross -industry thinking and connecting the dots.
Niki is passionate about the potential that innovation and AgTech holds for the African continent, the economy and its people. “Through building inclusive business and technology models, people are empowered and enabled to have more than just ‘hope’ for a better way of life.
