Nikhil Patel
Nikhil is the Chief Commercial Officer for Iroko (the world’s largest Nollywood entertainment company), and has 18 years of Global experience in TMT (Telecom, Media & Tech) across Africa, Europe, Asia, & USA. For the last past six years, he has lived in Africa, having extensive experience growing businesses in over 25 countries on the continent.
Nikhil entered the TMT industry in 2000 after graduating from University in London, when he joined Razorfish in Frankfurt, Germany. He then moved to New York where he spent 10 years, before moving to Africa in 2012, to join mi-Fone (the first African mobile device brand), as their COO.
He has shared his African stories at prestigious school such as Yale: School of Management, and Science PO Paris, is a member of the African Leadership Network (ALN), and was also one of the co-founders of Oju Africa (the world’s first Black emoticons) that won the Grand Prix Award @ Loeries in 2014.
