John is a Senior Startups Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS). At AWS, he solves complex, technical challenges for startups while serving as a thought-leader in fintech, generative AI, databases, and web3.

Before his time at AWS, he had engineering and product leadership experience at organizations such as Standard Bank Group and Nigerian Exchange Group, where he catalyzed technological transformation.

He actively contributes to the global tech community through speaking engagements and as a mentor in programs such as AWS Global Fintech Accelerator, AWS Cloud Women Mentorship Program, and Visa Fintech Accelerator.

John has a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, graduating with first-class honours. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Planning from the Edinburgh Business School.
