Isha Varshney

Head of DeFi Celo Foundation 

Isha Varshney is the Head of DeFi at the Celo Foundation where she supports the ecosystem’s decentralized finance initiatives and protocols. Her expertise is on decentralized finance, digital currency and the intersection of technology and economic and social inequality. She also supports global pilots that develop use cases for Web 3 applications that  reimagine financial infrastructure in emerging markets to increase financial inclusion.

Prior to Celo, Isha co-founded a fintech company and has extensive experience working in tech startups and financial consulting, having spent the past decade across Asia, Africa and Europe. Isha graduated with an MBA from Said Business School, Oxford and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She received a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Delhi
