Regional Director Katapult Africa

Danny is coordinating the strategy and scale-up of Katapult Africa as Regional Director, developing teams and partnerships to deliver high-impact climate tech investment and acceleration. Katapult Africa is Katapult’s dedicated investment vertical tailored to the continent, where in 2022 Danny supported building strong foundations, with stellar local teams, 2 dedicated Africa funds and accelerator programmes, and investing into 16 outstanding startups providing transformative technologies in the agriculture, food and climate industries.

Prior to joining Katapult, Danny spent 5 years consulting for impact investors and the development sector across Africa and Latin America. He began his career in the cocoa and coffee industry, implementing sustainable sourcing programmes in Ivory Coast, Ghana and Peru.

Danny is an outdoor enthusiast, and a keen marathon and mountain runner. He holds a Global MBA from IE Business School, and speaks English, French, Spanish
