Chidalu Onyenso
Chidalu Onyenso graduated from Princeton with a interdepartmental degree in Political Economy from the Politics and Economics department concentrating on comparative politics and writing her thesis on the correlation between entrepreneurship and political and economic stability in sub-Saharan Africa. Onyenso spent the past 8 years as a fintech product manager at both large international firms like IBM and early stage startups like Fundera by Nerdwallet and Raise.
At IBM, she led product for WorldWire, a first of a kind cross-border payments solution that helped small and medium enterprises in emerging markets across Africa and Asia send and receive payments abroad. At Fundera, she led the product team to increase customer acquisition by 7x for a small and medium business lending marketplace serving the US market. She led the integration of Fundera into Nerdwallet. At Raise, she built a product management framework and process to help the Nairobi-based seed startup rollout the next version of their cap table management software for African founders. Onyenso founded Earthbond out of the Harvard Innovation Lab in 2022 and launched during her Rock Summer Fellowship.
