Anthony Owei

Anthony Owei is a multiple award-winning entrepreneur in the agriculture and technology space. His life goal is to create and support platforms for individual freedom (avenue for individuals to attain the peak of their potentials) and economic opportunities (wealth and employment creation).

Inspired by the 2011 East African drought while living in Kenya, he founded Tonyve Farms in 2014. Tonyve Farms currently has 3 poultry production facilities in Bayelsa and Rivers States of Nigeria. In order to democratize investments into the poultry industry, he founded ePoultry in 2019, a digital agriculture platform that seeks to eliminate inefficiencies in the poultry value chain through data driven input financing and access to profitable markets for smallholder farmers using a B2B marketplace.

Recognized by President Obama in 2019 for his work in the food security space, he was named Top 40 Under 40 CEOs Africa 2020 and he is recipient of the Dutch Government OKP fellowship where is rounding off his MBA with a major in food security at the Business School, Netherlands.
