Akinyi Ochieng is a Senior Adviser at Botho Emerging Markets Group, an investment advisory firm headquartered in Nairobi and Dubai.
A prolific writer on African business and politics, Akinyi’s work has appeared in NPR, Slate, Quartz, Forbes Middle East, and more. Akinyi has worked with leading multinationals in the food and cosmetics industries across six African countries and advised non-profits and start-ups on business development, communications, supply chain management, and sustainability. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Yale University.
