Robin Bairstow
Robin Bairstow CEO I&M Bank (Rwanda) plc.
Robin has nearly 25 years of banking experience in diverse markets and has been with I&M Bank Plc for 4 years. Prior to this Robin held senior roles with Standard Chartered Banks Wholesale Banking Group.
Robin has rich international banking experience having served as the Managing Director and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking for East Africa based in Nairobi, Director, and Head of Origination and Client Coverage in Zambia, Head Transaction Banking Indonesia. Head of Corporate Sales in Uganda. Before joining Standard Chartered Robin held various banking positions at a number of leading international financial institutions.
He has developed skills to grow business units in diverse markets, has well developed corporate financing abilities and has an exemplary record in the risk and control environments.
Robin attended the South African Merchant Naval Academy and is a graduate of the University of Leicester.
