Dawit Abraham
Dawit Abraham is the Co-founder and CEO of Qene Technologies, the first gaming company based in Ethiopia. Qene has released it’s first 3D mobile runner game, Kukulu, on April 2018.
Dawit also worked as the lead game developer on this year-long project among a team of more than 15 professionals across varied fields of Creative Arts and Engineering.
Qene Technologies is now working on creating more premium standard African mobile games for the international market. What makes Qene different is that it makes sure all in-game contents are widely available for the African market by providing African friendly payment solutions such as mobile money and direct carrier billing through its games.
Dawit and his team believe that Africa indeed has a strong capacity to compete with international software industries. Their goal is to make Qene Technologies one of the leading gaming companies in Africa, and eventually, the world.
