Keeping You Safe

Keeping You Safe

At Africa Tech Summit, delegate safety is paramount. Working closely with the Sarit Conference Centre and in line with the Kenyan Governments protocols, Africa Tech Summit will fully incorporate Covid-19 safety procedures to ensure the best level of protection and comfort for all attendees.

Below are just a few of the measures that are being taken during the event, and are subject to change as regulations and recommendations in Kenya adapt but we will ensure that we are always fully compliant and go above and beyond what is required.

HAND SANITIZING

Multiple hand sanitizers stations are available both outside, at the entrance and inside the Expo Centre, in all meeting areas, and banquet halls.

CLEANING

During opening hours all handrails, door handles, and lift buttons will be disinfected every hour.  All washrooms have assigned attendants who will carry out on-going cleaning and disinfecting work before, during, and after events and during general operating hours.

FACE MASKS

All visitors and exhibitors will be required to wear a facemask throughout their visit to the event. Face masks will be available for purchase.

REGISTRATION

All visitors to Africa Tech Summit will be required to register before they can enter the exhibition.  We will do our upmost to stagger queues and minimise the interactions required at badge pick up.

TEMPERATURE CHECKS

All visitors to the Expo Centre will have their details captured and have their temperatures checked before being allowed to the event. If someone is showing a high temperature, they will not be permitted to enter.

SPACED STANDS

All exhibition stands will have at least 3m between them and the adjacent stands to ensure exhibitors and visitors have space to maintain social distancing.
