Seema is Director of Digifarm, leading the development of Safaricom’s AgTech platform to transform the lives of smallholder farmers and enable Kenya’s food systems.

Previous to Digifarm, Seema was Agriculture Portfolio Lead for Acumen, investing in early-stage companies tackling food systems challenges across EA; with a specific focus on solutions that leverage technology across the value chain. Seema is an active mentor, startup advisor, and board member. Seema returned to Kenya, where she was born and raised, after 10+ years in NYC working in Investment Banking, MFI, and startups.
