Nixon Kanali is a Kenyan-based tech journalist, digital strategist, and media entrepreneur with over a decade of experience shaping conversations around innovation, business, and the digital economy in Africa. He is the Founder and Managing Editor of TechTrends Media, a technology-focused media company and digital agency that tells Africa’s innovation and sustainability stories through news, podcasts, and branded content.

As the host of The TechTrends Podcast,  Nixon drives discussions with industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers, unpacking trends in technology, sustainability, business, and digital transformation. He also spearheads The GreenShift Podcast, a platform dedicated to sustainability, clean energy, and green innovation in Africa.

Beyond journalism, Nixon leads TechTrends Media’s transition into a full-service digital media agency, helping brands, startups, and institutions leverage content, data, and strategy to amplify their stories and drive impact.

He has collaborated with leading global and regional tech companies including Samsung, Huawei, Bolt among others, bridging the gap between technology and audiences through engaging content and thought leadership.
