Babatunde Akin-Moses is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sycamore Group, a borderless fintech providing credit, savings, investment, and related financial services to individuals and growing businesses. The platform has served over 400,000 customers across multiple markets, with a focus on users underserved by traditional financial institutions.

Before Sycamore, he worked across finance, strategy, and operations at Shell, KPMG, and PwC, and gained pan-African fintech experience at Pezesha in Nairobi. He holds a first-class degree in Economics from Bowen University and an MBA from Lagos Business School, with executive education from IESE Business School, Spain. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Banking Professional, Chartered Tax Practitioner, and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Credit Administration.

He writes and speaks on business, economics, technology, and public policy, with commentary featured in national and industry publications. He is the author of Economics with Uncle Tunde, a book that explains economic principles in clear, practical terms for everyday readers. He is pro-Nigerian and pro-African, focused on building strong local institutions and supporting sustainable economic growth across the continent.
