Ayobami Oladipo is the Business Development Lead for Nigeria at Ignitia, the world’s first tropical weather forecasting company. In this role, she has successfully facilitated deals worth over $500,000 while driving Ignitia’s mission to transform climate resilience across Africa’s food systems.
Ignitia’s hyperlocal forecasts now reach more than 3.2 million smallholder farmers, empowering them to make smarter decisions, improve yields, and strengthen financial inclusion for agri-value chain actors.
With over a decade of experience in agriculture and climate innovation, Ayobami has led groundbreaking initiatives bridging gaps in climate information services, strengthening national institutions like the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, and co-developing farmer-focused advisories adopted by governments. A Chevening Scholar and multiple award winner, she combines technical expertise with business acumen to accelerate scalable, tech-driven solutions for food security in Africa.
