Nadir Khamissa, founder and CEO of Bedlam Inc. and Hello Group, is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for startups and investing. All businesses he has started have been self-funded and bootstrapped, gaining success on minimal financial resources. Currently, he is angel investing and incubating a cyber-intelligence start-up called Snode.

His entrepreneurial career started when he and his brother, Shaazim, founded Hello Group in 2005. Today, Hello Group boasts offices in six countries and operations in 22 countries with over 700 employees. Nadir and Shaazim Khamissa were awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Southern Africa in 2015.

Hello Group operations include Hello Mobile, the largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in Africa by revenue, as well as the largest telecom distribution in informal markets in South Africa with 50 000 distributors. Hello Paisa, the largest independent money transfer operator in South Africa is part of the Hello Group. Hello Paisa was launched in March 2015 and offers low-income migrants in SA the opportunity to send money home.

Recently, the brothers launched Bedlam Inc., a company that works with inspired people to develop and successfully launch businesses. Bedlam Inc. invests in or starts technology-based businesses that have the potential to transform existing industries with a particular focus on Africa and Asia.

Nadir is a Harvard Business School Alum and was Managing Director of Global Equity Derivatives Trading at Deutsche Bank in London prior to launching Hello Group.
