Simeon Ononobi is the current CEO and co-founder of ThankUCash, a technology company powering rewards and loyalty for African Banks and Businesses.
ThankUCash has just concluded the integration into over 177,000 payment terminals in Nigeria. ThankUCash serves businesses of all sizes – from startups, small retailers, big bucks stores to banks and large organizations. They all use ThankUCash’s robust platform for acquiring rewarding and retaining customers.
The Company aims to power over 35% of loyalty and rewards programs in Africa and has started with Nigeria. They recently integrated their suite for physical stores into the point of sales terminals (Debit card readers) of merchants and also has partnered with African payment Giants Paystack to create a great user experience for online rewards. Simeon believes that tracking customers spending while appreciating them will go a long way to grow merchants and create a habitable community, and friendship between merchants and customers.
Prior to ThankUCash, Simeon founded Nigerians first online payment processor SimplePay and also created Nigerians first banking mobile app called GTBank. He was also the brain behind the successful and much-publicized Nigerian federal government programs Youwin! and Project Act Nollywood.
Simeon Ononobi is married to Madonna Ononobi also a co-founder and Chief Sale’s officer of ThankUCash. He is a biochemist by training and a self-thought techy.
