Oswald Jumira is the Group Head of Innovation Partnerships for Liquid Telecommunications Group. Oswald works closely with global vendors, the innovation hubs, startups and other strategic partners across the Liquid markets implementing the innovation strategy for the Group.
Oswald is passionate about developing commercially viable technology solutions that fit the African context and has twelve years experience in the technology space across ten different African countries.
Oswald previously consulted for AgriFin Accelerate which is a Mastercard Foundation funded agriculture based mobile financial inclusion program across East Africa. Oswald used to work for the Econet Group as Executive Head of Strategy & Partnerships for Cumii International and Executive Assistant to the Group CEO of Econet Services.
He was a visiting telecommunications researcher at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and INRIA in Lille, France. Oswald holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Cape Town.
