Lauren Cochran
Lauren Cochran is Managing Director at Blue Haven Initiative, where she leads strategy and execution for the family office’s direct venture investment portfolio. Lauren’s team makes early stage equity investments with the expectation of both commercial financial returns and positive social and environmental impact. Blue Haven’s portfolio includes M-KOPA, Twiga Foods, Paystack and PEG Africa, among others.
Prior to joining Blue Haven, Lauren worked at Imprint Capital, an impact investment advisory firm acquired by Goldman Sachs, where she led investments in emerging markets. Lauren also spent time with the Clinton Foundation’s Health Access Initiative, where she analyzed healthcare infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa and started her career in private equity in New York. Lauren holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and earned her M.B.A. from the Wharton School.
