Dan Block
Dan Block is an Investment Associate at Global Innovation Fund invests in fintech, e-/m-commerce, energy, agribusiness, and related thematic areas at Global Innovation Fund, an emerging market, impact-first investment vehicle targeting developing countries with a principal focus in Sub-saharan Africa and Asia. He is also coordinating new vehicles to support more mature enterprises along the path to scale.
Dan has over a decade of investment experience in both developed and emerging markets, with expertise advising frontier market funds and entrepreneurs on transactions in East and West Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
Dan served as Senior Advisor and Financial Services Manager at I-DEV International, an emerging market investment firm and strategy advisory, Entrepreneur in Residence at Finnovista, a leading global Fintech platform, and at Goldman Sachs.
