Amit Chawla is currently the Managing Director of Airtel Rwanda and a Senior Telecom Professional (BE+MBA) with substantial experience in Channel Management, Institutional Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Sales, Customer Operations and Business Management.
Amit has overseen the consolidation of Airtel and Tigo post-merger , with Airtel recently acquiring a unified license. He is turn-around specialist with a track record of driving top line growth, increasing profitability and building teams across different geographies.
Amit holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) with a post graduate degree in Management (MBA). He has over 20 years of Managerial experience in Sales & Marketing/ Business Development/Revenue Enhancement. Having geographically diverse experience in Asia, Middle East and Africa.
